Getting Kid Hair Right at Tub Talks

Getting Kid Hair Right at Tub Talks

Today Johnson’s in partnership with the parenting app Peanut, hosted the first ever Tub Talks.  The Fifth Avenue event was an educational platform that brought together childcare experts and thought leaders in the parenting space.

The first Tub Talks had three very savvy hair experts discussing the importance of parents and children bonding over bath time, as well as how hair care evolves as a child ages. Speakers included:

Motivational Ted Talker Glen Henry; Joe Greco, scientist from Johnson’s Baby R&D; and hair stylist extraordinaire and visionary Karla Diana Perea.

Talking to the audience Joe Greco stated, “The key is about finding the correct balance of conditioning and cleansing to deliver the performance that they need without over washing and conditioning hair. At Johnson’s we really like our consumer research, and we like to listen to our parents everywhere.”

In addition to the launch of Tub Talks, the brand unveiled the new Johnson’s for Kids Hair Care Collection.  The first-of-its-kind product family designed for a range of different hair types includes fine, curly and textured. The products are formulated free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates and dyes, and promises No More Tears. The collection ranges from $4.92 to $6.74 and arrives this month at food, drug and mass-market chain stores.
