GroundHog Day Is Not Throwing Away Their Shot Ham4Ham Mash-Up Continues

In August the broadway musical Hamilton, will be premiering in Los Angeles. In honor of it’s West Coast premiere, the musical’s creator Lin-Manuel Miranda is hosting a prize contest that is being call #Ham4all. In order for fans to have a chance to win free tickets, Miranda is asking them to donate $10 and to submit a clip of themselves excerpts from famous Hamilton songs. All of the money they donate will be given to the Immigrants We Get the Job Done coalition.

Broadway has gotten into the act and here is GroundHog Day’s version.

The Immigrants: We Get the Job Done Coalition is part of the Hispanic Federation 501(c)(3), the nation’s premier Latino non-profit organization. Launched in 2017, the coalition is comprised of 12 partner organizations that work throughout the United States to provide services to immigrants, refugees, and asylees, including legal representation, advocacy, and awareness campaigns. Coalition members include: ACCESS (Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Service), Alianza Americas, Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus, Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), Immigration Equality,  FANM, Inc./Haitian Women of Miami, Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), LULAC Institute, National Day Laborers Organizing Network (NDLON), National Immigration Law Center, Tahirih Justice Center, and United We Dream.
The Hispanic Federation works locally and nationally to empower millions of Latino children, youth, and families through three essential service pillars: increasing the capacity of Hispanic grassroots organizations, advocating for social justice, and providing direct programs that transform communities.

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. Currently she has a screenplay in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
