Help Stop Bullying With a New Book by June Rachelson Ospa and Allison Brewster-Franzetti

The True Colors of Weedle is a musical June Rachelson Ospa wrote with Allison Brewster-Franzetti.  Performed live many times with a positive reaction and having been told it would make a wonderful children’s book, they are taking steps to make this dream become a reality.  These illustrations are the first of 22 that will be created for Weedle.

The True Colors of Weedle is about a boy, born without any color. As such, he is bullied because everyone else around him has lots of colors. Ostracized, Weedle sets out to find a three-headed companion, called Marvella, Maxuma, Marmaduke…Mr M.! Together they hatch a plan for revenge on those who hurt them. After taking revenge, Weedle feels so bad that he cries. And to everyone’s amazement, his tears are full of vibrant colors, proving that he had it within himself all the time.

Bullying has become an epidemic, causing many children pain. Thisr story confronts this issue in a fun-filled way, without shying away from the issue at hand. Perhaps, this show is needed now more than ever!

The team is now on Go fund me asking for help. You to can be apart of stopping this epidemic.
