High Holy Days At The Actors’ Temple
Join in for the beautiful, spiritual services to usher in the New Year led by Rabbi/Cantor Jill Hausman and Cantorial Assistant Aron Bederson, with pianist James Besser, and violinist Marina Kifferstein joining us for Kol Nidre.
Rosh Hashanah 2nd Morning Creative Service with music and poetry: Tuesday, September 11, 10 AM
Tashlich following the service, approx. 2 PM, bread & snack provided; we will walk to the Hudson River
Yom Kippeu:
Kol Nidre Tuesday September 18, 6:45 PM: a musical service with violin and piano
Yom Kippur Wednesday, September 19, 10 AM; Yizkor approximately 1 PM. The synagogue will be open all day for reflection and a 3 PM study session. N’ila at 5:30 PM; Break-the-fast, 7:40 PM, included in ticket price;
The Actors’ Temple is a warm, accepting congregation where each person is valued. Please be with us for a spiritual beginning to the New Year. Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret, opera and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. She has a screenplay and a TV show in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
