Hot Happenings in March

The weather is warming up and helping create energy for fun in the city. All over the island hot happenings have been taking place.

Senses Salon

On Fifth Avenue the wonderful Senses Salon (138 5th Avenue) celebrated the start of spring with a Collection Release Party. The new creative team has been working hard to design and capture beautiful designs. Styles are now being featured in editorials and future shoots. The amazing team will also take requests for events and special occasions. For more information please visit

In Midtown the concert bar and hotspot Howl at the Moon celebrated the start of spring with an Eclipse Party on on March 23.  Guests were treated to a sampling of Howl’s signature cocktails including delicious St. Germain Lemonades and Honey Mango Margaritas created by lead mixologist Baylea Morgan and all-American burgers, fried and loaded potatoes from Executive Chef Hezekiah Johnson.

Howl’s amazingly talented house band including James Nathan Hopkins, Debbie Christine Tjong, Khalil Overton, Samantha Behrman and Danielle Boucher played just about anything by request without a break in the action.  These “human jukeboxes” kept the party going and had the crowd wanting more.  One star getting into the action was Real Housewives of New York’s Ramona Singer who was seen swaying to the song she requested from the band.

Next up Howl at the Moon will host an 80’s Night to remember on Friday, April 15th.  Practice your Thriller dance moves and warm up our voice to belt out “Let’s Dance.”  Free admission will be provided if you arrive wearing a totally rad 80’s outfit and a $50 cash prize will be rewarded for best dressed.  Drink specials include half off domestic beers by the bottle and half off jello shots, as well as 86oz Brass Monkey Buckets for $25, and all the 80’s music you can dance to by request, played by Howl’s talented house-band.  Doors open at 5pm. And On St. Patty’s  brand ambassador Tim Herlihy hosted a fun celebration at The Dead Rabbit. He recently concluded his 30-day, 50 state Irish True Pub Tour in search of the best St. Patrick’s Day events and most historic pubs in America.

“It’s been a fun time with a great brand,” said Herlihy.

Here is to more fun times ahead.
