Hot Time in the City with I Like it Like That Premiere Party at Cantina Rooftop

Cantina Rooftop recently hosted the premiere after party for the musical I Like It Like That starring Tito Nieves, Rosemary Almonte, Ana Isabelle, Carded De La Luz, Chichi Del Valle, Shadia Fairuz, Joseph “ unique” Gonzalez, Angel Lopez, Gilberto Velazquez, Nelson Gonzalez, Sofia Kilmovsky and Yesenia Santiago. It was one sizzling party with live music and delicious dishes.

I Like it Like That is the story of the Rodriguez family living in New York City¹s East Harlem in the early 1970s, when music was the proudest expression of El Barrio. This production takes the audience on a historical musical journey amidst neighborhood volatility and social activism. It¹s residents dealt with the ever-present topics of escape and social conscience.
