James Barbour Honored Tonight at Jane Elissa Charitable Benefit for Leukemia/Lymphoma

James Barbour, star of Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera, is being honored tonight at the eleventh annual Jane Elissa Extravaganza to Benefit the Jane Elissa Charitable Fund for Leukemia/Lymphoma research, Cancer, Broadway Cares and other charitable causes, at the Marriot Marquis, New York.

Barbour will be given the “Shining Star” Award, an honor that has been awarded to such Broadway luminaries as such as Robert Cuccioli, Doug Sills and Laurie Beechman.

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret, opera and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. She has a screenplay and a TV show in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
