The Prostate Cancer Foundation this week hosted their annual New York Dinner at the Restaurant Daniel. The exquisite culinary experience featured a special guest performance by Academy Award Winning Artist Jamie Foxx that had the nearly two hundred guests up on their feet dancing with the likes of David Geffen, Katharine McPhee and David Foster. Master Mentalist, Lior Suchard also performed tricks that mystified guests with his “supernatural entertainment.”
The incredible night benefited the Prostate Cancer Foundation. The charitable organization founded by Michael Milken is dedicated to identifying and funding groundbreaking cancer research programs.
“This is our 26th annual dinner. The people of New York are very philanthropic and very generous,” said PCF Chief Operating Officer, Christine Jones. “In the 26 year history of the Prostate Cancer Foundation we have raised more than $800 million to fund life saving cancer research. In the room tonight there will be some of the doctors who have been very inventive and have FDA approved drugs that are saving lives. So one of the things that we like to do here when we celebrate is to talk about all of the lives that have been saved.”
The memorable evening welcomed leaders in medicine, top research scientists and distinguished New York City socialites to explore refined European cuisines, world-class wines and gracious hospitality at Restaurant Daniel.
Throughout the dinner, notable guests were recognized for their commitment to cancer research and their continued support of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Prostate Cancer Foundation is dedicated to discovering new and better treatments that will impact all prostate cancer patients. Dinner guests will enjoy a lively auction showcasing VIP experiences as well as supporting unique research projects.
