Juan Pablo Di Pace Brings Back Sexy at The Green Room 42 Part 2

Juan Pablo Di Pace blew us away with his show at The Green Room 42 An Evening with Juan Pablo Di Pace.

One of the best things about this concert was Di pace’s ordinal tunes that are commercial pop sounding with out sounding cliche. “Be Ready” Was one of those tunes.

Joni’s Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now” was a plaintive plea in examining life.

Back to a George Michael Tune “Freedom 90” not only showed off Di Pace, but his amazing band with Eric Halvorson on drums, Simon Kafka guitar, Michael Blanco on bass, the soulful Mary Dormand on cello and his amazing arranger, background vocalist and musical director Charlie Alterman on piano.

On “Fuller House” Di Pace sang “Sunrise, Sunset” to his daughter. Closing out the show his melodic voice repeated that moment.

This show was well paced, intelligent, humorous and incredibly watchable.

Cabaret

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret, opera and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. She has a screenplay and a TV show in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
