Kick Off Rooftop Season With a Trifecta of Events at Social Drink & Food

Rooftop season is finally here! At the Yotel Hotel, 570 Tenth Avenue, Fourth Floor, a weekend kickoff party starts May 2nd, followed by a Kentucky Derby Party sponsored by Maker’s Mark on May 4th, and a Cinco de Mayo fiesta sponsored by Casamigos happens on May 5th, all of which are open to the public with no ticket necessary.

Narragansett Beer x Social Drink & Food Weekend Kickoff Party: Thursday, May 2, 2019 | 6:00PM – 9:00PM Free Admission

Social Drink & Food and Narragansett Beer are teaming up for a boozy kickoff party on the terrace! New Yorkers are invited to enjoy dishes from Social Drink & Food’s brand new BBQ menu while sipping on Narragansett Del’s Watermelon Shandy and engaging in fun activities on the terrace’s adult playground (think: Mini Golf, Connect 4, Beer Pong, and Corn Hole). The new BBQ menu will feature dishes cooked on the outdoor grill such as Choripán, Israeli Batata, and Mexican-Style Corn on the Cob, all of which will be available every Friday through Sunday from 4:00PM – 9:00PM.

Kentucky Derby Party Sponsored by Maker’s Mark Saturday, May 4, 2019 | 2:30PM – 7:30PM Free Admission

Derby enthusiasts and newcomers alike are invited to horse around at Social Drink & Food’s Kentucky Derby Party. At this fun-filled affair sponsored by Maker’s Mark, guests can sip on a Maker’s Mark Mint Julep ($15) while watching the race on the terrace’s large flat screen TV. No derby party is complete without a hat competition, so patrons should come decked out for a chance to win prizes such as a gift card to Social Drink & Food’s sister restaurant Green Fig or a one night stay at the Yotel Hotel.

Cinco de Mayo Fiesta Sponsored by CasamigosSunday, May 5, 2019 | 3:00PM – 7:00PM Free Admission

¡Vámonos! Social Drink & Food is hosting a Cinco de Mayo fiesta with lots of tacos and tequila. Sponsored by Casamigos, partygoers can enjoy a Bandera Watermelon Margarita ($14) or a Casamigos Margarita ($15), along with Mexican dishes such as a Taco Double ($9) with a choice of protein and classic guacamole with homemade tortilla chips ($9). For even more fun, guests can play Loteria – Mexican Bingo – to compete for the Social Drink & Food Cinco de Mayo Kit, which includes fun items like a drink ticket and a sombrero. There will also be a mini piñata filled with Casamigos sunglasses, mini liquor bottles, candy, and more! Those who want to keep the party rolling can head over to The Green Room 42
