Dancer and choreographer Carmen de Lavallade was interviewed by dance critic Deborah Jowitt at the League of Professional Theatre Women’s Oral History on Monday, June 27th, 2016. De Lavallade spoke of her lengthy career in dance and the experiences of her rich and varied life. A reception for League members and honored guests followed the interview, where guests mingled and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and libations.

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret, opera and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. She has a screenplay and a TV show in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
