Last night Tony award winner Lin Manuel-Miranda hosted a Q&A panel with Grease: Live directors Thomas Kail (who also directed Hamilton) and Alex Rudzinski, Aaron Tveit (who plays Danny Zuko), casting director Bernard Tesley and costume designer William Ivey Long at the Edison Ballroom in New York City.

This was part of the Emmy bid for wins. The talk was informative, fun and really showed why this production was special and unique. This is part 1 of that talk.

Fox’s Grease: Live stared Tveit, Julianne Hough and Vanessa Hudgens, first aired Jan. 31 as a live TV musical. Manuel-Miranda declared himself a fan of the production when he enthusiastically live-tweeted the entire broadcast.

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret, opera and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. She has a screenplay and a TV show in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
