The Lung Cancer Research Foundation (LCRF) held its signature gala, the Sixteenth Strolling Supper, at Gotham Hall in New York City. The event, which raised over $1.3 million, featured a special performance by Sutton Foster, Tony Award winner and star of Younger. In celebration of the Strolling Supper, several New York City skyline spires, One Bryant Park, One World Trade Center and One Five One West 42, were illuminated in signature LCRF blue.
WABC-TV’s Bill Ritter hosted the event, which brings together members of New York City’s professional, social and philanthropic communities. Proceeds support LCRF and its mission to improve lung cancer outcomes by funding research for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of lung cancer. The event continues to be LCRF’s largest annual fundraiser, raising over $17 million since inception.
