Mariah Carey Joins The 45th Anniversary of Times Square Ball Drop

Mariah Carey returns to Times Square with “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2017.” She was the first to perform live from Times Square in 2005.  Carey will perform right before the ball drops. Also expect  Joe Jonas’ pop-rock outfit DNCE, country musician Thomas Rhett and Gloria Estefan alongside the cast of On Your Feet!

Seacrest will host along with Jenny McCarthy, who will also chat with the more than 1 million revelers in Times Square. Fergie will host the show’s Billboard Hollywood Party from Los Angeles.

Carey’s E! docu-series ‘Mariah’s World’, premieres tomorrow (Sunday) at 9pm. “I am so excited to return to Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest and feel blessed to be a part of this year’s magical celebration. I can’t wait to perform once again for my incredible fans as we ring in the New Year together live from Times Square,” stated the pop star otherwise known as Mimi.

DNCE, single “Cake by the ocean” was a runaway success and their self-titled debut album arrived in November.

She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. Currently she has a screenplay in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
