MvVO Art Launches AD ART SHOW
Nia Franklin, Miss America 2019 saved her father’s life.In 2013 she was a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital patient and now, as Miss America 2019, she’s the CMN Hospitals National Goodwill Ambassador, kicking off one of the most important weeks of the year in Times Square: #ChildrensHospitalsWeek. She’s releasing her first single EVER to benefit CMNH, and will perform it at a press conference March 18th.
Nia Franklin’s time with Children’s Miracle Network not only saved her father’s life through a stem-cell transplant, but it also helped keep her family’s medical costs down. Her family’s inspiring story, with her father later watching his daughter crowned Miss America, is just one of thousands of stories that will be shared during this national, week-long movement.
On March 18, 2019, at noon Nia will be joined by other members of the Miss America Organization, broadway performers, and local chapters of Phi Mu Sorority in Times Square to talk to and engage with the general public about why CMNH is so important.
