Annie R. Such

Annie R. Such is an actor, playwright, and producer, originally hailing from Dallas, Texas. Graduating in May of 2012 with her BFA in Acting from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, she went on to pursue her MFA in Playwriting from The Actor’s Studio Drama School at Pace University.

Annie has worked as an actress in NYC, and is honored to be an internationally produced playwright. She’s now a full time mom and theatre teacher in DeSoto, TX, and will be making her way back up north very soon. You can find out more at www.anniersuch.com

Annie’s show Come and Take It started off in 2013 at The Brick Ten Minute Play Festival (NYC), went on in 2014 to Ruddy Productions (NYC) and was the 2014 winner of the Nu.10 Festival! (NYC). In 2015 it was shown at the Ophelia Theatre Group (NYC) and Little Fish Theatre’s POV S. 13 in Los Angeles. Now with extensive re-writes, Come and Take It has entered into the NY WinterFest.

Come and Take It follows the Bailey Brothers as they stand in the middle of the Texas heat in a Mexican Stand-Off. As they’re faced with their own resentments, the loss of their ranch, and the ever-present force of their deceased, alcoholic father, the boys must band together, and make the toughest decision of their lives, to save the future of their family.

Come and Take It: Hudson Theatre Guild, 441 West 26th St. Feb 1st @ 9pm , Feb 3rd @ 1pm and Feb 4th @ 6pm
