Meet the Playwrights of Summerfest: James Pyecka

James Pyecka

James Pyecka, one man show Liv’in The Dream, which he wrote and performed completed its first run in NYC. Directed by Adela Maria Bolet, Liv’in The Dream, has now been accepted into NY Theater Summer Fest 2017. Mr. Pyecka, brought to life the incredible personality of Gutzon Borglum in a reading of the new work, Rushmore, directed by Jonathon Musser. His last off Brodway credit was as Commander Anbourne in Diana, Navy And The Golden Tooth performed at Below 54 in October 2015. As an actor principal film roles include, God Forsaken, Legend Of Hell, The Haunting Of Rebecca Verlaine, and Beyond The Limits, all from cult splatter film director and friend, Olaf Ittenbach. As well as the lead role of Henri Vaton in Super Comet, After The Impact, director Stefan Schneider(Discovery Channel). Mr. Pyecka, has had quite a few supporting roles in German TV and international movies. His U.S. and International Theater credits include such roles as Caiaphas in Jesus Christ Superstar, Orin in Little Shop Of Horrors, Cornelius Hackl in Hello Dolly!, with main roles in original productions of Little Lord Fauntleroy, King Horst(Koenig Horst) and Elvis, The Show, His Life. You can also see Mr. Pyecka, work in voice overs, industrials, commercial and print. Mr. Pyecka, has acted as a dialect coach on several European film sets.

Liv’in The Dream performs September 28th at 9pm, 30th at 1pm and October 1st at 6pm.

Off Broadway

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. Currently she has a screenplay in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog. She was the Broadway Informer on the all access cable TV Show “The New Yorkers,” soon to be “The Tourist Channel.” email: suzanna@t2conline.com
