Meet The Playwrights of WinterFest Christina Cruz Brings Unspoken Conversations
Christina Cruz

Christina Cruz

Christina Cruz has her M.A. in Theatre Studies from Montclair State University. Unspoken Conversations is her first full length play, and she is honored to have the opportunity to share her work. She is currently working on several other full length plays that explore themes of marriages, sexuality, and gender politics between men and women. In addition to writing, Christina is a dance instructor at Broadway Bound Dance Center and is still active with Montclair State University’s Theatre and Dance Department managing their annual Theatre Night Awards for the past 5 years.

Unspoken Conversations follows twenty-years-old, Frida Uhl who believes she knows all the answers to her life and future. A progressive thinker and budding writer, Frida hopes to advance her career and social status with her marriage to August Strindberg. Yet, after she meets a mysteriously quirky man in the park and quickly finds out that he is the aspiring playwright, Frank Wedekind, Frida begins to second guess everything that she thought she knew about life, happiness and desire.

Unspoken Conversations plays January 29, 2018 @ 9pm, January 31, 2018 @ 9pm and February 3, 2018 @ 3:30pm at the Hudson Theatre Guild at 441 West 26th Street.
