Ms. Moore and friends will close the event singing her “Lift Every Voice & Sing”. The event will be streamed globally. A local Lenape’ elder woman (Lenape’ are the Indigenous People of NY) will lead the blessing, as well as remarks from Rev. Amanda Hambrick Ashcraft of Middle Collegiate Church, representing the church’s “Just Arts” initiative.
