Michael Longoria’s Love Songs Put Me in a Valentine’s Day

Michael Longoria’s Love Songs Put Me in a Valentine’s Day

Tuesday night Michael Longoria returned to Birdland with “Love Songs”. I have been following Michael’s career for several years and I’m am always thrilled to attend any of his performances. I first heard Michael when I attended a performance of the Midtown Men. Not only was he an amazing singer, but he is also a wonderful songwriter.

On Tuesday night Michael included his original song “Kiss Me (Like they Do in the Movies). I love the song so much, that I found my self humming it on the way home.

Surrounded by amazing musicians Michael’s musical arrangements/director James Robinson was on piano, David Cinquegrana, on guitar, Brian Holtz, on bass, Alex Wyatt on drums. He was also backed by his brother Danny Longoria and Ashanti J’aria.

Michael’s last CD “Like They Do In The Movies” is available on Amazon.com.
