My View: A Great Meeting At The Triad – Everyone Met & Loved Patrick Rinn

Tommy Tune met his production manager Patrick Rinn 27 years ago, and an overflow audience at The Triad met the actor Patrick Rinn last night as he performed his one man show, “I never promised you…Rose Garden.  It was an emotional tour de force as Patrick sang, danced and acted, his way through an autobiographical journey of a young boy’s dream to become a performer and his determination not to be beaten down from blows that life has dealt him.  He triumphs, and finally finds his place in show business. Anyone who was present at this meeting triumphed, but most of all Patrick and Rose did.  Patrick Rinn has come from back stage to center stage with a thrilling show and I am so glad I got to meet him…..On and Off stage.

Stephen studied at the Manhattan School of Music. Besides being a pianist, Stephen’s business career was in the Fashion Industry. He was CEO of a textile manufacturing facility and President of an international textile machinery company. Stephen was on the Board of Directors of the “First All Children’s Theatre” which brought the Stephen Schwartz musical The Trip and Captain Louie to the Kennedy Center in Wash DC. His wife Eda, an interior space designer and classical pianist was on the Board of Barrington Stage Company and is still active at BSC. Stephen’s photographs, videos and articles appear on Broadwayworld.com, T2Conline.com and The New York Observer. He is active in the entertainment events at the Friars Club, where he is a member.
