MvVO Art Launches AD ART SHOW
Jane Carr, David Garrison, Kyle Dean Massey, Scarlett Strallen, and Will Swenson were on the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage at the exciting opening night performance of The Pirates of Penzance.
In the second act, long time Barrington Stage Board member Sheila Richman was plucked from the audience to have a cameo role as the Queen. Shelia performed her part perfectly and almost got a standing ovation from the overflow opening nighters. The spectacular production was directed by Tony Award winner John Rando and choreographed by Emmy Award winner Joshua Bergasse who were reunited ( On The Town) by artistic director Juilanne Boyd for Gilbert & Sullivan’s comic opera. Pirates plays through August 13th but unfortunately Sheila’s understudies will be at future performances…
