My View: Barrington Stage Co. Celebrates Opening Night of Into The Woods

“OMG This is like Broadway”!  I overheard a Manhattanite making that comment exiting the opening night performance of Stephen Sondheim’s IntoThe Woods at Barrington Stage Co.  Yes, it was “like” Broadway on BSC’s state of the art Boyd/Quinson Mainstage last night. The only difference being the theater’s comfortable seats, excellent site lines, and absence of “congestion driving” charges in downtown Pittsfield, Ma.  The only congestion was in the  lobby of the theater with an overflow crowd of Berkshire, Tri-State  and Florida theater lovers. Check out the opening night curtain call photos and after party at Hotel on North.os
