MvVO Art Launches AD ART SHOW
My View: Cafe Centro Becomes A Love Boat For The Rob Russell Birthday Show

“Mr. Palm Beach” celebrated his Birthday in typical Rob Russell style last night and Cafe Centro was packed with an audience of music lovers and performers for the party.  Rob dug deep into his closet and picked out an extra special John Giovanni Marquez creation to wear for the momentous evening and also added a Captain’s Hat for a nautical look.   It was a Love Boat all around as he entered the room singing  “Tonight” and his trademark “Hello Dolly” while  greeting everyone in the audience personally.  Legends Radio was well represented with Jill & Rich Switzer, Mike McGann and Sandy Fisher in the house and I’m sure Dick Robinson’s airwaves will be buzzing about this Palm Beach party.  Marilyn Maye phoned in but the only voice missing was Jack Jones singing the Love Boat theme.  Happy Birthday Rob.
