My View: I’m Just Sayin’ – There Was A Lot Of Pride And I’m Not Prejudiced

Friend (full transparency here) Jamie deRoy is a co-producer on the Primary Stages production of Pride And Prejudice and this co-production with Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival is a winner.  Literature’s greatest tale of latent love has never felt so theatrical, or so full of life than it does in this effervescent new adaption.  Pride And Prejudice by Kate Hamill is based on the novel by Jane Austen.  The cast includes: Mark Bedard, Kimberly Chatterjee, Kate Hamill, Jason O’Connell, Amelia Pedlow, Chris Thorn, John Tufts, Nance Williamson. It’s directed by Amanda Dehnert and the fun production already has been extended to Jan. 6th.  There will be a special 35 & Under Party (Jamie to attend?) on November 29th, when the price of admission will include the reception following the performance with cast and team members.
