My View: Judith Clurman Brings The Sound Of Music And Talk To The DiMenna Center

One of the best musical experiences you can have is being in a room and listening to Judith Clurman’s Essential Voices USA singing The Sound Of Music. That would have been enough, but then we heard a talk and performance by Elisabeth Von Trapp and a discussion with Ted Chapin (CEO Rodgers & Hammerstein), David Chase (music director), Larry Hochman (orchestrator), and Larry Schoenberg (son of the composer). It was all things Austrian, Vermont, and New York City and here is a short video of the sounds at the DiMenna Center last night.
