My View: No Joke! The Friars Club Inaugurates New Comedy Night

Milton Berle once said that the average age of a Friar was “deceased”.  He’d better take a look at his room at the Friars Club now.

Humor has always been a major element of the “Friars Experience” and a new generation of younger comics and audiences are now becoming a part of that history.  The club is bringing the brightest young comedians to the place where many jokes and laughs have been heard….The Milton Berle Room of the Friars Club.  Jiggy (Mark Jigarjian) who is the national opening act for the Impractical Jokers Tour hosted and brought a group of very funny comedians to entertain a very young and hip audience last night and it looks like many Friars will soon have to start wearing their Friars baseball caps backwards for these evenings.  It’s called the “Vault” and it was off to a very funny start.
