My View: Othello: The Remix – Wait Until These Guys Tackle This Years Presidential Election In Hip Hop

My View: Othello: The Remix – Wait Until These Guys Tackle This Years Presidential Election In Hip Hop

If you want  a fun way to see Othello, hop over to the West Side Theatre where the long anticipated New York debut of The Q Brothers’ Othello: The Remix is being presented by John Leguizamo. It is an 80 minute, exuberant spin on Shakespear’s tragic tale proving that the Bard himself was the original master of rhythm and rhyme. We’re getting history and the classics in hip hop and I’m just wondering when these imaginative and creative theatre folks will create a show based upon the drama of this year’s presidential election.  It should be quite a farce!

Meanwhile here are some opening night  photos of Othello: The Remix.
