My View: Something Beautiful at Feinstein’s/54 Below

My View: Something Beautiful at Feinstein’s/54 Below

Beautiful was the operative word last night as Corinna Sowers Adler brought her beautiful voice and beautiful songs to Feinstein’s/54 Below last night.

Corinna also brought the beautiful voices of the NiCori Teen Ensemble singers to the stage of Broadway’s Supper Club.

Something Beautiful, which debuted in Jazz at Lincoln Center’s majestic Appel Room was filled with magical songs by Billy Joel, Ahrens and Flaherty, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Elton John, Stephen Schwartz, and others, Corinna as she did at Lincoln Center mesmerized and delighted  the audience with the music of Something Beautiful.

Corinna is a four time Tony Award nominee for Excellence in Theatre Education. The 14 members of the Teen Ensemble Chorus consisted of  Shannon Bretz, Kiana Carbone, Grace Carlin, Emma Dean, Zoe Gelman, Mia Grossman, Olivia Grzywinski, Katherine Heyman, Liz Nucci, Miranda Midrazo, Megan Moynahan, Damon Santiago, Katherine Stelma, Luke Surretsky.

Something Beautiful was created with Broadway Musical Director Larry Yurman and featured composer and arranger Corey Wachala on piano, Colleen Clark on drums and Christian Fabian on bass.
