My View: The Best Is Yet To Come – Here’s Why

Tony Bennett has always had the music world’s finest musicians assisting him as he created some of the greatest renditions of the American Song Book ever to be heard. Legendary pianists Ralph Sharon, Lee Musiker and Mike Renzi, have served as Mr. Bennett’s pianist/conductor in recent years. That accompanying torch has now been passed to the artistry of one of the most extraordinary individuals to ever sit at a keyboard – Billy Stritch. Mr. Stritch with typical humility recently notified his many fans in this Facebook post. “I’ve been holding off a bit on making this announcement on Facebook but I was recently asked by Tony Bennett to go on the road with him as his pianist/conductor. We had a show last night at the Keith-Albee Theater in Huntington WV and it was a great thrill accompanying this legend for the first time. Sixteen more shows this year and more to come in 2017 – hopefully to a venue near you!”                                       The Best Is Most Certainly Yet To Come!
