My View: The Chorus Sings God Bless America as Fran Drescher’s Cancer Schmancer Cruise Passes The Statue of Liberty

My View: The Chorus Sings God Bless America as Fran Drescher’s Cancer Schmancer Cruise Passes The Statue of Liberty

With a little of my coaxing Ann Hampton Callaway sang God Bless America as Fran Drescher’s Cancer Schmancer Cabaret Dinner Cruise approached the Statue Of Liberty.  Joining in were Eda Sorokoff  who having immigrated to the United States never fails to  shed a tear for The Lady In The Harbor.  The impromptu chorus also consisted of Ilene Graff and Joan Ryan

Cancer Schmancer’s mission is to shift the nation’s focus from just searching for a cure to prevention and early detection of cancer in order to save lives.

It was an exhilarating evening on a Love Boat filled with great entertainers, wonderful food, and caring folks.
