My View: The Main (Music) Man is Coming to Palm Beach

After The Colony decided to take a different track and closed The Royal Room, many locals were dismayed that the annual pilgrimage to see the country’s number one crooner of The Great American Songbook, Steve Tyrell had come to an end.  Steve vowed to return.. and he did with a hugely successful run at the restaurant Table 26 in West Palm Beach last season.   Eddie & Ozzie in their gift to the eatery’s many fans turned the restaurant into a glamorous night club for Steve’s return.  It’s happening again March 8th 9th, 10th & 11th.  Make your reservations early!  Steve always sells out very quickly.

Like you go to Frank Sinatra for “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” or Dean Martin for “ When Somebody Loves Somebody Sometime”, Steve Tyrell is the man for “ On The Sunny Side Of The Street” and also dozens of other Great American Songbook Standards.  These guys are the comfort music food men who are capable of warming your melodic soul time after time with the the definitive versions of popular songs that will live on forever.

Steve Tyrell not only does it by performing himself, expertly combining his personality, style, and distinctive voice, he also imparts his expertise as a record producer and knowledge to help other singers make the music.
