My View: Usually Only 150 People Get To Hear The Music At Birdland – Now It’s Going To Be Many More

It’s all about the Radio Audience and a bunch of Legends. Ann Hampton Callaway taped two segments of her Radio Program “This Is Cabaret” at the legendary Birdland last night. Jazz/Pop legends Kurt Elling and Marilyn Maye were here special guests, and the standing room only Birdland crowd got to hear a wonderful evening of conversation and music from these great artists. Ann recently received a Legends Award from the legendary radio personality Dick Robinson at a Legends Radio sponsored audience appreciation concert in Florida.
