Nerai Celebrates Wine Spectator Restaurant Award with Grand Toasts

This week New York City’s legendary Greek restaurant Nerai (55 E 54th Street) celebrated their recent Wine Spectator Restaurant Award with a special tasting party.

Passed hors d’oeuvres were enjoyed by 100 guests as they sipped on tastings from the region. Wine selections were superb and an excellent representation of the exquisite win.

This perennially popular Midtown restaurant offers wines from the major wine growing regions as well as from small family owned boutique wineries in Greece.

Their wine cellar, which can hold 4,000 bottles of wine, includes options ranging in price from $55 to over $2,000 a bottle, which are carefully selected by Nerai’s Wine Director, Michael Coll.

Nerai offers a contemporary twist on sophisticated Greek dining in the heart of the city.  The restaurant is ranked one of the top 100 in NYC according to TripAdvisor. Stepping into Nerai transports guests to a peaceful Greek island light years away from the hustle of NYC.  For reservations please visit
