This weekend the first annual New York Irish Whiskey Festival lit up the city. In partnership with world-class Irish Whiskey experts, Sean Muldoon and Jack McGarry of The Dead Rabbit, guests experienced over 25 Irish Whiskeys, delicious bites, and live entertainment.

Pier A Harbor House was the place to be seen. Hundreds of guests indulged in the fun and delights. The festival started off the month right and highlighted the best in the industry.

One whiskey in particular that brought a twist to the festival was Conor McGregor’s Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey.

As whiskey-lovers weaved in and out of many rooms sipping on what participating brands had to offer they came to find themselves in the Proper Twelve room, equipped with a full bar area serving the whiskey neat or on the rocks and an outdoor patio with a great view of the Statue of Liberty.

Not only was the room decorated with the Proper Twelve decor, but it also included a Proper Twelve prize wheel where festival-goers were able to spin for a chance to win some branded gear or a spot on the FDNY/NYPD donation board. For every name on the board Proper Twelve pledged to donate $25 to either organization. By the end of the event they had enough names that over $1000 for each organization was raised.
