NYFW Sparkles and Styles with Champions of Sustainability

This week NYFW and REPREVE hosted a splendid cocktail reception to celebrate Champions of Sustainability. Famed designer Mara Hoffman was honored with a special award to recognize her exemplary leadership in sustainable fashion.

REPREVE is a global leader in branded recycled performance fibers and has, to date, transformed more than 14 billion plastic bottles into recycled fiber for new clothing, shoes, home goods and more.    It is the earth-friendly solution to making consumers’ favorite brands more environmentally responsible and can be found in products from many of the world’s leading brands like Mara Hoffman, Nike, Hagger, and more.

Also on Monday, co-designers Rosario Dawson & Abrima Erwiah showed their collection from the thriving STUDIO 189. Evian sponsored the platform for up and coming sustainable designers including Dawson’s team.
