The Henri Bendel Fifth Avenue flagship hosted a NYFW benefit event for NoBully.org to raise funds and awareness for anti-bullying.
The event was organized by Carrie Berk (NYMF 2017 Award for Outstanding Individual Performance) and the all-kid cast of The New York Musical Festival’s Peace, Love and Cupcakes: The Musical. The show joined forces with No Bully this summer and was awarded a special NYMF citation for turning a musical into a full-fledged social inclusivity movement.
The event featured live performances by the cast which included Broadway show veterans Eliza Madore (Matilda), Madison Mullahey (Mary Poppins, Shrek), and Abigail Shapiro (The Grinch Who Stole Christmas), under the direction of Jill Jaysen and musical direction of Joe Baker. The September 14th event also included cocktails and cupcakes provided by NYC’s Georgetown Cupcake SoHo and a VIP guest list of TV personalities and social media influencers who support this important cause. Henri Bendel will donate 10% of the evening’s proceeds to No Bully.
