The opening also brought about 100 protesters organized by 19 year-old Megan Rubin, who started a Change.org petition signed by more than 50,000. They who picketed along with Ballerina Alexandra Waterbury who accused Amar Ramasar and several others in a civil suit of trading explicit photos and videos of female ballerinas while they were with the New York City Ballet. Ramasar, is playing Sharks gang leader Bernardo and they want him fired.
Producer Scott Rudin is not planning to replace Ramasar.
