Yesterday, New Yorkers braved scattered raindrops for the first week of 106.7 LITE FM’s Broadway in Bryant Park, the annual free lunchtime series featuring On- and Off- Broadway performances throughout the summer. The inaugural performances were emceed by 106.7 LITE FM’s fan-favorite personality Christine Nagy.

The show began with a bang as STOMP kicked off the summer series with an exciting performance of percussion and rhythm.

Next, the cast of The Phantom of the Opera had the crowd singing along to two duets performed by Rachel Eskenazi-Gold and Rodney Ingram.
Following, the cast of Groundhog Day wowed the audience with their hilarious numbers.
The cast of Wicked concluded the afternoon of music with beloved hits “Popular,” “As Long As You’re Mine,” and “The Wizard and I.” The performance was included Broadway stars Kara Lindsay, Michael Campayo, and Jennifer DiNoia.
