If you live off campus, you will not be able to make it to many classes if you wake up late. Proximity is one of the benefits of living in a dorm. You do not have to worry about getting to any place in time as they are all near you.

Socialization

Another advantage of living in a dorm is that you will be able to augment or enhance your social life. You are in an environment where the majority are students. Most of them are eager to make new friends. You will be able to get to know and interact with other students with ease unlike living off campus. You will not have to wait until you attend classes to get to know other students. Living in the dorms presents an opportunity for you to connect and interact with other students. Additionally, you will be able to get to know more about your school.

Ease of finding a study partner

It will be easy for you to find a study partner because your classmates will be like your neighbors. In the quest of making new friends, you may find a study partner with ease. Do not underrate or misjudge the supremacy of teamwork. Reading and studying with other students can help you consolidate your learning and motivate you. You will not have to encounter challenges when it comes to tackling your assignments. Lack of discretion

Living in a dorm also hinders you from having your privacy. It is on rare occasions where a student gets to have a whole dorm room to themselves. You may be sharing a dorm room with another student(s). It may be fun when you start living together. But, it all comes to depreciate when you yearn for some alone time. Also, your roommate may have a friend(s) over and this can annoy you with ease.

Room inspections

Dorm inspections occur on a regular basis. This is to ensure your room stays clean and that you are not engaging in ant risky behavior. But, this can be a bother to you when you get to have time in the dorm to study, eat, and sleep. Also, your room may seem to be messy or untidy to other people but you are able to locate your things with ease.

Propel and activity

Living in a dorm entails a lot of hustle and bustle. You may not feel free in an environment where many people surround you. There may be some drama going on which you would not want to be a part of. Additionally, you do not like struggling for things such as getting a dryer with other students.

Routine can become boring
