We reviewed Waitress April 28, 2016, loving the smell of the pies and the tuneful score. Over the years we have written about the changes in casts and the inventive marketing. Here is a look back.

Jessie Hooker-Bailey, Tyrone Davis Jr., Brandon Kalm, Shoshana Bean, Charity Angel Dawson, Dayna Jarae Dantzier and Max Kumangai took Waitress again to 106.7 LITE FM’s Broadway in Bryant Park.
Jordan Sparks the American Idol alum will starred as the pie-maker Jenna in Waitress on Broadway from Sept. 16 – Oct. 27. This was Sparks’ second time on Broadway, she made her stage debut in 2010 as Nina in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s In the Heights.
Katharine McPhee returned to Broadway as Jenna November 25 – January 5, for the final weeks of Waitress’ Broadway run. McPhee made her Broadway debut in the show last year and her UK premiere a few months ago.
Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret, opera and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. She has a screenplay and a TV show in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
