Ride of Fame, a continuing worldwide series of mobile monuments dedicated to public figures highlighting New York City, as well as their respective cities, business and personal endeavors now in its eighth year, will honor international singer, songwriter and actor Carlos Vives. Vives will be present to unveil his very own double-decker bus with a permanent front decal and seat, which he will scribe his personal message. Previous Ride of Fame® honorees have included: Sir Patrick Stewart, Broadway Legend Liza Minnelli, Football Legend Joe Namath, Hip-Hop Legend/Kennedy Center Honors Recipient LL COOL J, Musical Super Group Fifth Harmony and more.
Carlos Vives, is performing at Radio City Music Hall as part of his Vives Tour USA on Saturday, September 22. He will meet, greet & interact with fans in advance of the much-anticipated concert. Vives is one of the most prolific Colombian artists and figure in Latin music. With more than 20 million albums sold throughout the world, Vives was the first Colombian artist to take home a Grammy Award, and to-date, is the recipient of two Grammys and 11 Latin Grammys. Carlos will be the 55th honoree to the Ride of Fame®.
