Rodney Yee and GAIAM Launch New Healthy Living Studio

Get ready to be in the best shape of your life inside and out.

Yoga industry pioneer Rodney Yee and GAIAM are launching an exciting new program. The GAIAM Wellness Studio at Lord and Taylor is opening in New York City.

Located in the 11th floor event space and rooftop courtyard of Lord and Taylor’s Flagship Store on 5th Avenue, The GAIAM Wellness Studio by Rodney Yee will serve as an educational, training, and gathering center for New Yorkers to better their health and wellness. With a growing selection of offerings, the studio provides daily yoga and meditation, Urban Zen’s restorative yoga plus aromatherapy, Reiki and breath awareness, as well as weekly advanced yoga workshops and family wellness programming. The studio will also be home to a variety of wellness events, hosted by Yee himself. Among them are Wellness Nights, which kick off with yoga and meditation classes followed by presentations from guest speakers and Q&A panels. Ending the evening with a vendor market, guests can also indulge in wellness experiences like Tarot readings, chair bodywork and natural beauty treatments, as well as sample products and services centered around the studio’s monthly focus.

The studio’s launch event takes place on March 28. The event will feature specialty classes by AKT, Rodney Yee & Colleen Saidman Yee, and meditation teacher Aaron Teich, followed by a panel discussion featuring notable wellness experts Dr. Frank Lipman, Colleen Saidman Yee, beauty expert Yelena Royzen, Louis Sagar of The Alchemist’s Kitchen, and Brian Halweil of Edible Manhattan.

Guests are invited to join one or all classes and the panel discussion, or simply indulge in the many wellness and beauty experiences that will take place throughout the evening. Offerings will include mini-consultations with The Clean Program, meal-prep tips from Thin From Within author Robyn Youkilis, natural beauty treatments, herbalism and plant-based remedies from The Alchemist’s Kitchen, Tarot reading, chair bodywork, Reiki, and essential oil treatments, and more.
