Our most recent critically acclaimed 2018-2019 season featured a world premiere musical, Renascence, from book writer Dick Scanlan and composer Carmel Dean, featuring the works of poet Edna St. Vincent Milay, and the reimagined revival of The Trial of the Catonsville Nine, featuring OBIE award winner Mia Katigbak, David Huynh, and Eunice Wong. Recent seasons featured an astounding revival of Eugene O’Neill’s Strange Interlude, performed by David Greenspan, and only David Greenspan, in a one-man-tour-de-force; a co-production with Classic Stage Company with Tennessee Williams’ southern gothic classic Summer and Smoke starring Marin Ireland; and two Willian Inge plays running in rotating repertory: Picnic and Come Back, Little Sheba. The repertory productions received multiple award nominations, including three Obie Awards: Set Design (Dane Laffrey), Performance (Heather MacRae – Lola in Sheba) and Directing (Jack Cummings III).
