New York Women in Film & Television  is hosting their 39th Annual Muse Awards gala luncheon on Thursday, December 13th at the New York Hilton Midtown Hotel.

This year’s honorees include Sarah Jessica Parker, Ellen Burstyn, Lisa Nishimura, Tricia Brock, Maysoon Zayid and outgoing NYWIFT Director Terry Lawler. Each year, the Muse Awards celebrates women of outstanding vision and achievement both in front of and behind the camera in film, television and digital media.

For 38 years, NYWIFT has presented the Muse Awards annual gala holiday luncheon celebrating women of vision and achievement. Each year, remarkable and accomplished women are honored with this prestigious award. It is NYWIFT’s flagship fundraising event — a highlight of the New York City holiday season in the entertainment industry — and is attended by an enthusiastic audience of 1,200 leading executives from every major studio, broadcast and cable network, and film production facility.

Ellen Burstyn, Actor
Lisa Nishimura, VP of Original Documentary and Comedy Programming, Netflix
Sarah Jessica Parker, Actor and Producer
Tricia Brock, Director (The Nancy Malone Directing Award)
Maysoon Zayid, Actor, Comedian and Activist (Loreen Arbus Changemaker Award)

The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment “Made in New York” Award will be presented to NYWIFT Executive Director Terry Lawler.

Actor and CBS commentator Nancy Giles will return as emcee.
