On Saturday, New York City was the stomping grounds for another great cause. Over 30 Navy SEALs gathered to raise funds to end veteran homelessness.
During the first legally sanctioned swim across the Hudson the SEALs went from Liberty State Park, then to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and then Battery Park.
The finish line was a run to the 9/11 Memorial where they took a moment to honor those we lost.
The race included a stop with hundreds of pushups that paid respect to the great diversity of this country and our freedoms. Former SEALs racing included “Transformers” actor Remi Adeleke and professional MMA fighter Mitch Aguiar.
