Shear Madness and Roadway Moving Giving Back To Kids

Shear Madness and Roadway Moving Giving Back To Kids

Sheer Madness

The cast of Shear Madness joined the Off-Broadway League in recognizing the needs of the less fortunate this holiday season – particularly imperiled children – and collected toys and games for the OFF BROADWAY TOY DRIVE, benefiting Safe Horizon, the largest non-profit victim services agency in the United States, touching the lives of more than 250,000 children, adults and families affected by crime and abuse throughout New York City each year. Thanks to the generosity of our friends at TTPM.com (Twitter—@ttpm; Facebook, Instagram—@ttpmofficial) the folks at Shear Madness were able to make their collection all the more special this year.

On December 28th, at   14-32 W. 118th Street from 11- 3 pm Bronx-based company, Roadway Moving, will be partnering with The Children’s Village to provide toys to over 350 families in need this holiday season. This year marks The Children’s Village 15th annual holiday celebration, which brings together over 1500 members of the community to The Children’s Aid Society, for a special Christmas party. Dedicated to helping children who are struggling to become productive, independent citizens, The Children’s Village annual holiday party will include a visit with Santa, arts and crafts, tons of toys and several other educational activities. It will truly be a celebration to witness these families gathered together on this special day.
