MvVO Art Launches AD ART SHOW
A behind-the-scenes view of life in the entertainment world, from vintage Hollywood to today, through the eyes of two generations of film and theater publicists. This live, hour-long photo essay presents candid images of stars and family members, compiled during the careers of PR pioneer John Springer and his son and successor, Gary. Take a close look into the everyday life of Hollywood’s biggest stars – – including Mary Pickford, Ginger Rogers, Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Judy Garland, Marlene Dietrich, and many other renowned names and faces – – as recounted by Gary Springer, whose favorite babysitter as a child was Marilyn Monroe! Join Gary as he shares his journey through the entertainment industry, from actor (Dog Day Afternoon and Jaws 2) to publicist. You’ll get to see 80+ photos from his family’s private albums and hear some incredible stories.
Please note, due to limited space, this event is open to All Access Pass holders, filmmakers, volunteers, and members of the press, only.
