Southampton Animal Shelter Hosts Third Annual Taste of Wine in Hamptons

It was a beautiful Memorial Day weekend in the Hamptons. Visitors and locals alike enjoyed the stunning weather at the beach and several events in the villages.

newA very special and important moment was spent for our lovely friends with paws at the Southampton Animal Shelter’s Third Annual Taste of Wine. About 200 guests gathered at the Southampton Arts Centre for an afternoon of fun and petting.

The gracious Jean Shafiroff hosted the party where 100% of the proceeds went directly to helping homeless pets.

Centerpieces were proudly presented by Topiary Flower Shop, appetizers by 230 Elm The Lobster Grill, and delicious desserts by Tate’s Bake Shop. Certain Moves Trio performed lively tunes on the stage as guests sampled sips from wineries that included Palmer, Vinkara and Rapheal Vineyards. Herbert & Rist also supplied a variety of wines to sample, along with bubbly by Fiol Prosecco.

It was a perfect way to start the summer.
