Stephen Sorokoff – My View: Russ Weatherford Always Creates Photo Montages – Here’s One For Russ

It seemed as if a lot of Russ Weatherford’s wonderful photos came to life in the Metropolitan Room last night as operating partner Bernie Furshpan hosted “This Is Your Night” Russ Weatherford. It was an emotional celebration for the man who has so generously shared his talents with our Cabaret and Theatre community for so many years. Numerous friends “gave back” to Russ as they in turn shared their musical talents with a black tie overpacked Metropolitan Room audience. All spoke of their gratitude for being a benefactor of Russ’s abilities and kindness, and all were silently praying that this superb human being will be in their lives for a long time to come.
